With the large adjustable Velcro straps on the top, your kid can put on and take off the shoes themselves and adjust the fit as they go. This makes things a little easier when the water in a kid's head is calling, and it can't go too slowly. In addition, a smaller strap has been added at the back so that feet can get into the shoes even faster.

To prevent the kid from slipping at the pool or on the wet stones in the water, the shoes are of course non-slip with the special design of the undersole that allows water to seep up between the construction and the kid thus gets a solidly planted foothold regardless of the situation.

The Nixie Kids Water Sandals is a more open swim shoe, which unlike many other swim shoes that are completely enclosed, gives the feet a more breathable environment where it does not become annoying for the kid to wear the shoes for several hours of use. The bottom of the shoes itself is made up of a thicker 2.5 mm vulcanized rubber sole that is thick enough that whether your kid steps on a nail, a sharp rock or something toxic in the water, there's no way they'll be able to walk through it.

This strong vulcanized rubber sole also continues up in front of the toes on the front, where typical kids' swim shoes tend to rip the fabric or split at the seams if not properly protected. This doesn't happen with these.

The upper is made from particularly comfortable and flexible neoprene, which provides the elasticity needed for your kid to move exactly as they want without discomfort or feeling restricted. Neoprene is also widely known for being particularly hard-wearing and durable, so they can take a beating.

Inside the swim shoes themselves, a comfortable and shock-absorbing sole is incorporated to avoid hard shocks up the body as the kid moves quickly around.
