Watery Ace cold plunge - Our Top Model for Cold Water Therapy

The Watery Ace is the pinnacle of our ice bath series, designed for those seeking the very best in cold therapy.
Constructed with the same luxurious materials as our Master and Deluxe models, but featuring a more advanced ergonomic design and even greater comfort, the Ace offers the ultimate ice bathing experience—both functionally and aesthetically.

Inspired by professional recovery baths, its gently sloping "wheelbarrow design" lets you lie naturally and comfortably in the water while the cold evenly envelops your entire body. This leads to more effective recovery and a feeling of peace and balance throughout your body.

Why Choose the Ace?

Quick Cooling and Effective Recovery:
Its compact design and insulating construction help you quickly bring the water to your desired temperature. Perfect for reducing muscle soreness and inflammation after a workout—and with the Watery water cooler, you can even achieve temperatures as low as 3°C without using ice cubes.

Ergonomic and Compact Design:
The Ace's wheelbarrow-shaped construction allows you to sit deeply and comfortably in a natural posture, with your back and shoulders relaxing against the edge. Meanwhile, it occupies less space, making it ideal for balconies, terraces, or smaller outdoor areas.

Built to Last:
Made from premium multi-layer PVC drop-stitch fabric with reinforced seams, the tub is UV-resistant, tear-proof, and completely leakproof—even with daily use year-round.

Full Body Coverage:
Its dimensions of 155 cm in length, 80 cm in width, and 70 cm in height provide full body coverage, allowing you to submerge entirely for maximum effect.

Easy Setup and Quick Drainage:
Inflates in just a few minutes and easily drains through the built-in 1/2” valve. When finished, it can be cleaned and packed away in no time.

Compact and Portable:
Despite being spacious, the tub weighs only 12 kg when empty and can be folded down to 78 × 38 × 28 cm. It's easy to take along—whether you're using it at home, at your summer house, or for training.

Watery Touch:
The Watery Ace provides the same depth, comfort, and cold insulation found in professional recovery facilities—elegant, functional, and thoughtfully designed—because your cold therapy deserves the best.

Benefits of Ice Bathing with Our Ice Bath and How It Works

When you immerse your body in cold water, something extraordinary happens. The cold causes the blood vessels to constrict and then expand once you emerge. This boosts circulation and aids the body in recovering more quickly.

Research shows that cold baths can reduce muscle soreness, improve sleep, and increase daily energy (Research source: NCBI)

Simultaneously, the body releases happiness hormones like endorphins and dopamine, which improve mood, focus, and overall vitality. We've experienced this firsthand and consistently hear about it from our customer feedback.

These are just some of the reasons why ice bathing has become a regular habit for thousands of our customers—it works both physically and mentally.

Getting Started with the Watery Master Ice Bath

If you're new to ice bathing, it's important to start slowly—simply make sure you're doing it right. Begin by filling your Master ice bath with water (and possibly ice cubes) until it reaches around 10–15 degrees Celsius. Start with brief sessions of 1–3 minutes.
As your body adapts to the cold, you can gradually decrease the temperature and extend the time.

Always listen to your body—it should feel challenging, but never uncomfortable. If it does, stop and try warmer temperatures.

A good rule of thumb we recommend to new ice bathers: The colder the water, the shorter the time. (And at low temperatures, remember to use protective gear on hands and feet to avoid frostbite. We recommend our neoprene set.)

Why So Many Use Ice Baths

When you regularly use the Master ice bath, you get much more than just a cold shock. Cold water therapy is well-documented and offers numerous benefits for both body and mind:

Improved and Deeper Sleep:

Research suggests that cold baths can lower body temperature and stimulate the production of melatonin, a hormone that promotes sleep, resulting in better and more restful sleep.

Relief from Muscle and Joint Pain:

Regular cold baths can positively affect relief from muscle and joint pain, as the body releases various signaling substances that help reduce pain.

Improved Circulation:

Exposure to cold causes blood vessels to constrict, and as the body warms up again, they expand. This can lead to improved circulation and overall health.

Mental Wellbeing:

Studies show that cold baths can enhance mood and concentration, contributing to mental clarity. This is due to the release of endorphins and dopamine, which can help reduce stress, anxiety, and depression over time.

Warnings and Precautions for Using the Master Ice Bath

While ice bathing is healthy and well-documented, always exercise caution and consult a doctor if you have existing health issues or are pregnant.

It is particularly important to avoid ice baths if you are pregnant, have a history of heart issues or high blood pressure, diabetes, conditions like neuropathy or retinal damage, use a pacemaker, have a history of frostbite, have open wounds, have recently undergone surgery, suffer from epilepsy, or have other health concerns or risk factors.

Be aware that children are especially sensitive to extreme temperatures, and it is always advisable to supervise them when using the ice bath.

When your body is exposed to cold water, your core body temperature drops, causing blood vessels to constrict and reduce blood flow. This can, in combination with existing health issues, increase blood pressure and the risk of cardiac arrest or stroke.

Important: Do not exceed your physical limits, and stop immediately if you experience negative symptoms. Seek medical assistance without delay.
