If you want to extend the life of the competition swimsuit, you must:

• Immediately after the last lap after a day of swimming, wash it in as cold water as possible
• Do not wring it dry, instead hang it up after use (not in the sun)
• It must not be left wet in a bag for prolonged periods of time
• It must not be machine washed or put in the dryer.
• When putting it on, don't use your fingertips, as nails can pierce the relatively thin fabric.
