Most frequent beach-goers or swimmers have experienced a tendency for their hair and scalp to dry out, start to smell of chlorine/salt, get a greenish tint and become brittle on all sides after being in chlorinated water at the swimming pool or salt water at the beach for an extended period of time. Unfortunately, this happens naturally as the chlorine and salt from the water settles into the scalp and wraps a layer around each hair tip, removing the hair's natural ability to breathe and restore itself.
While our Reef Anti-Chlorine Shampoo, which should be used before this conditioner, actively removes the invisible layer of chlorine and salt from the hair ends and scalp and thus repairs effectively, this conditioner adds moisture and softness to the hair again, keeps the hair hydrated, gathers split ends, makes the hair shiny and glossy and curl-free after drying, and removes and replaces the bad smell of chlorine/salt with a pleasant citrus scent. That's why there are also fragrances in this Anti-Chlorine Conditioner as opposed to the Shampoo. In other words, the conditioner softens, nourishes and strengthens the hair without weighing it down.
The natural fats in Reef Conditioner also create a protective film on the scalp and ends of the hair, which reduces evaporation and thus retains the hair's newfound moisture and gives it a particularly long-lasting shiny look and is therefore long-lasting.
Unlike most other regular conditioners, this one is particularly strong at recovering from chlorine/salt, making it ideal for frequent swimmers and/or beach-goers of all ages and levels.
In addition, unlike other options on the market, Reef Anti-chlorine Conditioner has no added colorants, so you get a pure lotion, which is why the conditioner appears white.
Reef Anti-chlorine Conditioner should be applied in an appropriate layer to the hair inside the shower, left on for 2-3 minutes to allow it to work its way in and then rinsed out with warm/smelly water. For a more preventative approach, it can also be used before swimming to reduce the amount of chlorine/salt that is initially absorbed by the hair.
The balm's composition of oils has been selected by dermatologists based on our own problems with dry and smelly hair as former professional swimmers and is already of great use to thousands of swimmers and beach-goers around the world. It is developed in Denmark and then also produced in Denmark.
Of course, it is also free from parabens and gluten, not tested on animals and based on vegan ingredients. Plus, it comes in a 200 ml. tube made from 50% recycled plastic from collected plastic bottles.

How to use the conditioner:
- Apply an appropriate layer of the conditioner evenly throughout the hair while in the shower
