For some, the bubbly design may be an aesthetic expression that differs from the mundane swim cap, but there's actually a deeper meaning behind the design. The tiny bubbles create small air pockets on the inside, where air warmed by body temperature will embed itself.

This creates a natural barrier against cooler environments and low water temperatures. In the same way a wetsuit works, the air in the small bubbles will come into contact with the cold water first, creating a protective barrier where the cold environment does not come into contact with the forehead and scalp.

Therefore, Tales Bubble is also particularly suitable for open water swimming and in pools with below normal water temperatures. With a thickness of 81 grams, it has exceptional durability and thermal insulation compared to other swim caps.

It's available here in black, but also comes in pink, blue, and purple. For open water use, we would recommend using it in pink.
